Pat Gelsinger has been serving as CEO of VMware since September 2012, nearly doubling the size of the company during his tenure. He brings more than 35 years of technology and leadership experience.
Before joining VMware, Gelsinger led EMC's Information Infrastructure Products business as president and COO. A respected IT industry veteran, he was at Intel for 30 years becoming the company’s first CTO and driving the creation of key industry technologies including USB and Wi-Fi. He led Intel to be the dominant supplier of the microprocessor – while in the significant role as the architect of the original 80486 processor.
Raghu Raghuram joined VMware in 2003 and has joint responsibility with Dr. Rajiv Ramaswami for all VMware’s product and service offerings and centralized services, support and operational functions. In this role, Raghuram’s primary focus is on VMware’s cloud services offerings.
During his tenure at VMware, Raghuram has held multiple leadership roles, most recently leading the company’s software-defined data center business as the executive vice president and general manager, where he was responsible for the division’s strategy, business and product planning and engineering execution. Prior to that he led the company’s cloud infrastructure and management business as the general manager, and led worldwide product marketing, product management and business planning for VMware's virtual infrastructure. Raghuram began his career at VMware running product management for ESX and vSphere.
Prior to VMware, Raghuram held product management and marketing roles at AOL, Bang Networks and Netscape. Raghuram holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Arun is the Managing Director for VMware India and is responsible for growing the sales and marketing operations in the country. He is also oversees VMware's strategic partnerships and alliances with channel partners in the country.
With over than 22 years of hi-tech experience across Asia Pacific and the US, Parameswaran was previously GM in charge of Red Hat's business throughout the Indian sub-continent before joining VMware in April 2014.
Before that, he was Senior Director, Global Business Development, responsible for building and managing Red Hat's eco-system of partners across Asia Pacific and Japan. Other roles in the company included OEM Global Alliance Manager and MD of Global Professional Services, as well as leadership of the company's services business in Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Red Hat, Parameswaran held leadership positions at PTI/Mastech before the company was acquired by Red Hat. He started his career with Wipro Infotech in India, holding various sales and product management positions.
Parameswaran attended the Thiagarajar College of Engineering at Madurai Kamaraj University and holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Based in Bangalore, B.S. Nagarajan is a Technology Director with VMware India. At VMware, he is responsible for evangelizing VMware at various industry-wide marketing events. He is an expert in quantifying the economic and environmental benefits like Green IT, Energy Efficiency and Power & Cooling savings achievable through virtualization to customers.
Nagarajan is responsible for delivering VMware strategic roadmap, including insight on future projects and direction to customers. He is a guide and trusted advisor to customers providing technical knowledge and sharing technical information on VMware products & solutions to partners. He has also setup a partner technical community called VMware Gurus across India which is a very active & participative forum providing self-support among VMware partners.
Prior to joining VMware, Nagarajan had served in organizations like Compaq / HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. and Wipro Infotech. With nearly 15 years of industry experience, Nagarajan had also floated a Web Design company called Cybertech Internet Technology Centre between January 1998 and March 2000.
Nagarajan holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the RV College of Engineering affiliated to Bangalore University where he majored in Industrial Engineering.
Born and educated in New Zealand, Callum is a 20 Year IT Veteran, with his employment experience spanning Channel, Sales and Leadership roles throughout Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining VMware, Callum was most recently with Citrix, responsible for the vendors' Korean business. Prior to 6 years at Citrix Callum came from an IT hardware background, working with Lenovo and Toshiba in the Australia and New Zealand markets. His roles included New Zealand Country Manager for Toshiba followed by ANZ Channel Director for both Toshiba and Lenovo.
Callum holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Lincoln University in New Zealand. He has also competed in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii and in September of 2016 qualified and competed in the Half Ironman World Championships in Australia.
